East Village was born in tribute to the many New York venues of its kind; intimate and alluring. It takes its name from the underground suburb of East Village Manhattan, making Shoreditch the perfect location for a British counterpart.
True to NYC’s charming style, we’ve adopted art-deco curves and hippy kitsch decor, a truly iconic and timeless fashion that to some will seem retro-cool. For others, however, it will evoke nostalgic memories of eighties hedonism and a bohemian scene where eccentricity was the norm...either way, it’s a playful reference to modern design.
Cocktails, drinks and food can be enjoyed comfortably in both the Deco-lounge and the Flamingo Crossing, which lies on separate mezzanine floor. Small enough for an intimate party, but with its own boutique style, its an impressive venue for small parties of up to 70 guests; it even boasts its own one-man-bar. What’s more, all of our areas can be hired for private parties or corporate bookings, whether its a bespoke product launch with champagne and canapés to an intimate birthday bash, our friendly team will ensure it works for you.
